Description
The USB 4-Port Serial Adapter makes it easy to connect four RS-232 serial devices to a USB port on a PC or Mac. Linux is not currently supported. This adapter is ideal for industrial and enterprise markets where there is a need to connect serial devices to a PC for process control, data collection, or point of sale applications. It is also ideal for connecting modems, fax modems, or terminals to a server.

I own one of these fine devices and it has worked wonderfully on Win7. But I was very disappointed when my Win8 upgrade failed to recognize this device. I was told a while ago that there is no driver yet there's a Win8 driver for the single port model. Well, I got tired of waiting and found another 4-port product, an industrial model in a metal case (good for rf protection) for almost half the price of the Keyspan. It's currently working great with my TNC on UI-View. I still have my Keyspan in case I want to use it with any Win7 machines but I'll probably sell it. It shouldn't take this long for Tripp to write the driver for Win8.

I am using this device to connect a number of serial devices to my WIN-7 64-bit system. The interface works as advertised. Very easy to install and configure.

I've been using this product for 2 years and it has worked great. I bought a new computer with Windows 8 and to my dismay found out there is no Windows 8 driver. Hopefully this will change soon. So if you want a great device for up to Windows 8, you've found it. But don't buy it for Windows 8.

Works great with other Windows operating systems. Need a Windows 8 driver. Per the suggestion of Keyspan Support Group, tried the other driver for the single serial to USB port device, no luck in making that work with this device. Would appreciate an ECD from Keyspan for the Windows 8 driver. Can't be that difficult.
